Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026.

1. What InkReady is

InkReady is record-keeping software that helps UK tattoo studios keep digital compliance records and produce an inspection-ready report. It is not legal, medical, or regulatory advice. You remain responsible for complying with your local council's byelaws, the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, the Tattooing of Minors Act 1969, and all other applicable law.

2. Age verification

It is illegal to tattoo anyone under 18 in the UK (except by a medical practitioner). InkReady requires you to confirm age verification before saving a consent record and blocks records for clients under 18, but you are solely responsible for checking valid ID and complying with the law.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Plans & billing

The Free plan allows up to 20 stored consent records and 90 days of log history. Pro (£4.99/month or £39/year) removes these limits and adds reminders and a branded report. Subscriptions are billed via Stripe in GBP and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Availability & liability

InkReady is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, InkReady is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any regulatory outcome, fine, or claim arising from your use of the service. Keep your own backups (you can export at any time).

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or applicable law.
